Summer Camp (19th day)

13th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

The last day of summer camp at the school was an emotional one. Each student raise their voice on the benefits they gained during the past days. The 19 day camp gives students the education they need outside their class-room books. A certificate was also issued by the organization to the students for their participation.








Summer Camp (18th day)

12th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

Students were given a painting lesson on this day. Usually paintings are made using color, brush or a pen. Particularly on this day, students were made aware that paintings can be made up of different forms. Paintings were made using household goods such as vegetables, tapes etc. The activity was done in-order to make use of the resources available to the maximum. This is an important step necessary to save the environment.








Summer Camp (17th day)

11th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

On this day, prizes were distributed to the students who took part in the drawing competition. Sweets and chocolates were given to show appreciation as well as to motivate them. It was clear to see that the students were not only having fun but competitive as well, which is always a good sight to see. They were determined more than ever to out draw their fellow students in the up coming drawing competition.







Summer Camp (16th day)

10th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

A drawing competition relating to environment was held on this day. Students had the freedom to draw any picture which show-case their concern to the environment. The students being from different background had different ideas on what their piece should be. The day was both fun and entertaining.





Summer Camp (15th day)

9th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

On this day, we continue to educate the students on the importance of reusing old newspapers. As it is merely impossible to perform activities outside because of the heat/hot weather, it was important that we organize an in-door activity. The students learnt how to make a lotus flower from used newspapers on this day. It was a fun and educational in-door activity.








Summer Camp (14th day)

6th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

The activity organized on this day was particularly focused on reusing of old newspapers. How it can be used and what can be done to put it to good use. As of this day, students were given instructions on how to make household decorations using newspapers. This brings another dimension on the minds of the students.
