ENVIRONMENT DAY

5th June 2014
                                                     District Centre, Janak Puri
                                                                  New Delhi
Environment Day was celebrated by the organization in collaboration with different schools. An awareness campaign on ‘segregation of waste’ was held in District Center, Janak Puri. Students communicated with the public on the need to a ‘clean living’ and the importance of ‘recycling’ used goods through street play, rally and distribution of tree sapling. 
















Summer Camp (13th day)

5th June 2014

The organization performing activites with the students on this Environment Day had our final reharsals. Each student is busy preparing for their assigned roles for the event. Celebration of the Environment Day will be held in District Centre, Janak Puri.
 






Summer Camp (12th day)

4th June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari nagar, New Delhi.

Students continue to prepare themselves for the Environment Day campaign. They will be performing activities such as, tree sapling distribution, a play, awareness on waste management. They will spread the need to a ‘green living’ and on the importance of ‘segregation of waste’.





Summer Camp (11th day)

3rd June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

The organization will be staging an awareness campaign in the up coming Environment Day (5th June 2014). Students will be performing different kinds of activities during the campaign and as such, this day was used for preparation of activities they will be doing respectively. All the activities planned are done in-order that students can convey the importance of a clean and healthy living environment.




Summer Camp (10th day)

2nd June 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

The need to reuse or recycle old newspapers was taught to the campers on this day. Ways and techniques of reusing newspapers was introduced to the students where-by they can use these practices at home. The students also crafted some amazing things out of their unwanted goods. The importance and need to reuse our materials to save the environment is our topic of the day.






Summer Camp (9th day)

31st May 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

On this day, students were given a first had experience on what is meant by ‘segregation of waste’. What waste goes into which dust bin for recycling. The students were tested to their maximum capability on where our everyday waste is suppose to be kept/ placed, in-order that we save the environment. Students had fun, gained knowledge and enjoyed the practical work.







Summer Camp (8th day)

30th May 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

Campers had an introduction to our new volunteers,what they have learnt and how far they've come. Preparations for the upcoming event (environment day) was also held where-in on this day, students will organize an awareness programme in open public places. Fresh volunteers certainly did help bring new ideas to the students.








Summer camp (7th day)

29th May 2014
Mata Leelawanti Saraswati Vidya Mandir,
Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

Tree saplings were planted by the students on this day. Campers divided themselves into 3 groups, each group planting 2 tree sapling near their classroom. This activity was done so as to that sense of satisfaction within them which would spark the students to drive-on in the fight against global warming. The students also had a fun time watering the plants and trees surrounding their school premises.
