22nd April 2014. Earth Day. Indira Ideal School. Janak Puri, New Delhi.

Earth Day
22nd April 2014

On this day once again we took the opportunity to
create awareness to save the environment.

The students and teacher along with their family of
Indira Ideal school, Janak Puri gave their precious time
to volunteer for the Cause. This was the first activity which we performed with this group. They were given information on the importance of segregating garbage in our homes so that it can help save our environment and natural resources. The students did extremely well in creating awareness among the general public on "segregation of waste" and saving the environment at
District Centre, Janak Puri.

We want to thank Ms. Ritu Kulshreshtha (Principal),
Ms. Vineeta Sharma (Academic Head), Ms. Mona Tiwari (Teacher Incharge), Akshat Thapliyal (Student),
Akshita Thapliyal (Student), Nitish Anand (Student),
Sneha Kajla (Student), Devesh Tiwari (Student),
Krittika Y. Singh (Student), Bhavik Chopra (Student),
Shreyashi (Student) and Janak Place Market Association

The activity not only had a positive response from the people
but it was also an important educational experience for the students.

We hope that the project will continue to grow as it has in the past with more and more people joining the project and creating awareness for a clean and green environment.
